CANADA
Canada occupies almost the entire northern half of mainland North America and the numerous islands adjoining to it, including the Canadian Arctic Archipelago in the north, Newfoundland in the east, Vancouver in the west. In the east, it is washed by the waters of the Atlantic, in the west – the Pacific, and in the north – the Arctic Ocean. Canada is located between the USA and Russia. Most of Canada is located in the same geographical latitudes as our country. The extreme south of Canada lies at the same latitude with Georgia, the islands of the Canadian Archipelago are located at a distance of 1000 km from the North Pole. The length of the country from north to south is 4600 km, from west to east – 5100 km. The territory of the country is 9974 thousand km2., Of which 755 thousand km2. (8%) falls on inland waters. CHILE
Chile – (Spanish Chile, the official name is the Republic of Chile (Spanish República de Chile [reˈpuβlika ðe ˈʧile])) – a state in southwestern South America, occupying a long narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and the Andes.
In the west it is washed by the Pacific Ocean, in the east it borders with Argentina, in the north with Peru, in the northeast with Bolivia.
Chile has a coastline of 6435 km in length and has exclusive rights to the adjacent sea area called the Chilean Sea, which includes four areas: [territorial waters (120 827 km2), contiguous zone (131 669 km2), exclusive economic zone (3 681 989 km2), and the corresponding continental shelf (161 338 km2). NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand, a country literally at the end of the world, consisting of a pair of large islands (North and South) and a host of small ones. It was discovered by the Dutch traveler Abel Tasman in 1642 and got its name in honor of one of the provinces of the Netherlands, Zealand. Later, another famous navigator, the Englishman James Cook, changed the Dutch name of the archipelago: Nieuw Zeeland to English New Zealand, which became the official name of the country.
